Registration fees and ISAL membership
With your registration to AlifeXII, you can decide to become a member of the International Society of Artificial Life (ISAL).
With a new ISAL membership you will have a two-year subscription to the Artificial Life journal (ALJ) published by the MIT Press, which is the main channel of research communication within the artificial life community. As a previous ISAL member you will have your ALJ subscription extended with two years.
If you would like to become a member of ISAL or if you are already an ISAL member, the AlifeXII conference fees are reduced and there will be no additional ISAL membership fee.

Accommodation
VisitOdense takes care of the accommodation during the conference. In the registration unit you will find a description of the hotels that they have selected for you to chose between.
Travel bursaries
Depending on the success with our external fund raising, Alife12 may be able to provide partial support e.g. for students (reduce or waive conference fees). You may submit a request for financial aid at the time of your registration. For obvious reasons, we cannot respond to requests for financial aid before we know the results of our fund raising. Due to the financial crisis external financial support has so far been difficult to identify.
